Faction: Stygian

In appearance, Guardians are towering serpent-men with four muscular arms with which they wield gilded swords and vicious, bladed flails. They are always found in the presence of their Priestesses, serving as their protectors and earning them their names. So intimidating are Guardians that they cause fear amid their enemies and unease in most mounts. In spite of their large size, which puts them looming over even the Ogres, the Guardian is surprisingly agile and quick in combat. It does not appear to move as fast as many of its brethren, but its power and size easily make up for this.

Guardian (1) Costs: 91

Special Rules:
- Desert Warrior
- Steadfast
- Cold Blooded
- Causes Fear
- Cannot Run
- Commanding Presence
- Secondary Attack: For each attack Action spent in Close Combat the Guardian actually makes two attacks, one with it Viper-Tooth Flail and one with each of its Gilded Swords. You must therefore state before your Action, which will be your Primary and which will be your Secondary Attack. Example: A Guardian is locked in Close Combat. It decides to Attac first with its Viper-Tooth Flais, making this its Primary Attack. Its CC is 15. It then makes its Secondary Attacks with each of its two Gilded Swords; so rolls two attacks with a modified CC of 9 (14 with the penalty of -4).
- Guardians are each armed with a Viper-Tooth Flail and two Gilded Swords.
