Goblin Swordmasters

Faction: Blackblood

If the tumultuous history of the Blackbloods has taught them anything, it is that smaller does not mean less dangerous. The Goblins of the Empire have been slowly building their power base and are now grudgingly almost accorded citizenship within the Empire. Nizar himself has made it a point to cultivate the Goblin masses into a more accepted force, and the events of the latest failed coup at Terakan have proven them worthy of the mantle Blackblood.

Swordmasters make up the bulk of Japur’s ground troops and are quite skilled with the two wicked Scimitar blades they wield. Considering that they are not physically the most powerful of the races, they make up for this shortcoming with speed and numbers. While ferocious in battle, they possess none of the mind-clouding bloodlust their larger cousins do. If an Ogre actually wants prisoners taken in battle, it is usually the Goblins who are assigned the task.
